Ethereal Vibrations

Ethereal Vibrations

Ethereal Vibrations is an experimental publication housed in packaging that explores the perception of color in organisms. The main concept behind this publication is the human's possession of a theory of mind and our unique ability to consider how other organisms perceive the world around us. This publication uses hand-mixed Ultraviolet ink that was screenprinted on each page, exemplifying certain organisms' abilities to see things beyond human perception. The UV flashlight included in the packaging allows readers to view hidden printed content throughout the book and on the package. The glasses included in the package allow readers to view the world as if they had two different types of color blindness. The book was written by Cameryn Richards through extensive research. It would ideally be used as a teaching tool on the perception of color and existing visual systems. The red plus sign symbol indicates where there is hidden ultraviolet content on the packaging and various pages of the book.
